Employment history

Since 2006 University of Turin, teaching a seminar about Translation practice.

Since 2002 Teaching English and Italian for foreigners at the University of Turin and private schools.

April – October 2002 Global Target Translation agency in Turin. Translation coordinator and proof-reader.

April – June 2002 Collaboration with Turin University (CLIFU): project about useful websites for language learning.

January – May 1999 Editor/translator for the publishing house Pianeta, Turin. I translated part of their website using HTML editors (Dreamveawer, Front page).

October 2003 - January 2007 PhD in English Studies, University of Turin

January – March 2005 Postgraduate Certificate in Translation Studies at Warwick University (UK).

October 2002- July 2003 Post-graduate course for professional translators (1200 hours), 90/100. Work experiences: translation into Italian of the book Wizard tales and one month in Torino Convention Bureau.

July 2002 Graduated from the Foreign Literature and Language Faculty in Turin 110/110. Marketing and IT options. Erasmus exchange in Leeds (UK).

1994 – 1997 Secondary School Diploma, 50/60 Foreign Language major (English, French, Spanish).

1991 – 1994 Attendance at SHAPE International school in Belgium; classes were held in French, while the official language within the NATO headquarter was English.
